The president of the United States , Barack Obama, said the death of Osama bin Laden sends to the world and own the message that "when we said we'll never forget, we really mean it." Obama made the remarks while visiting the Fire Department's battalion that lost 15 men during the terrorist attack of September 11, 2001.This was the first stop of his visit to New York to commemorate the victims of the attack, after the death of bin Laden in an operation the U.S. military in Pakistan on Sunday. The battalion is home to a memorial for the firefighters who died where written messages can be viewed by their families. Then Obama would visit Ground Zero, where stood the World Trade Center .
